After recently completing our venture backed fundraise, we're introducing a Strategy & Operations Lead —a pivotal, strategic position designed to support the CEO in operationalizing the company’s vision and driving growth initiatives across MyFO. Requirements
What you will be doing:
Strategic Planning & Execution
Collaborate with the CEO to develop, communicate, and implement MyFO's strategic roadmap.
Translate high-level strategies into operational initiatives and manage cross-functional projects to completion.
Lead business planning processes, including goal-setting, KPI tracking, and performance evaluation.
Operations & Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline internal processes, improving efficiency and scalability.
Implement operational frameworks and best practices that support MyFO’s growth and enhance collaboration across teams.
Oversee project management tools and methodologies to ensure alignment and accountability.
Executive & Stakeholder Support
Serve as a sounding board and advisor to the CEO on key business decisions.
Prepare executive communications, presentations, and reports, ensuring clarity and alignment in messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate board meetings, investor updates, and manage special projects as needed.
Team Development & Culture
Support the CEO in driving a high-performance, collaborative culture that aligns with MyFO’s core values and mission.
Work closely with People Operations to assist in onboarding, training, and team engagement initiatives.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and accountability across the organization.
Data & Analytics
Leverage data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions, partnering with finance and product teams to track metrics.
Support financial and operational reporting efforts, providing the CEO and other leaders with the information needed for informed decision-making.
You have:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in strategy, operations, management consulting, or a similar high-impact role; startup or tech experience is a plus.
Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects with measurable results.
Strong analytical skills with an ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in creating executive-level presentations.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment and take initiative to build processes from scratch.
High emotional intelligence, with a focus on empathy and cultural fit.
This is a full time & remote position. HQ is located in Vancouver, BC.
The pay range for this position is $100k - $120k / year.
